Gleason Advertising Pte Ltd was incorporated in 1980. It was then a small player engaged primarily in the manufacture and installation of custom-built signage. With its reputation for continuous innovation and quality improvement, the company’s sales turnover expanded rapidly in the midst of increasing market demand for its superior products and services. As a result, the directors decided to establish Ultimate Display System Pte Ltd (UDS) in 1992 as a strategic signage designer and supplier in part to overcome the major shortcomings inherent in the traditional signs industry. Since this strategic alliance, Gleason has experienced exponential growth in sales and with our improved production facilities, begin to undertake mammoth turnkey projects via public tenders and direct awards. Today, Gleason Advertising is Singapore ’s foremost specialist sign systems integrator and a market leader in signage design, manufacturing and installation.

Ultimate Display System

Ultimate Display System Pte Ltd is the leading designer and manufacturer of a full spectrum of modular sign display systems and materials that are highly versatile, durable and easily assembled, requiring only minimal maintenance and yet are cost effective. Its entire range of truly Singapore homegrown products is suitable for both exterior and interior uses such as advertising panels, architectural signs, illuminated lightboxes, multi-purpose booths, street furniture and taxi-top panels. The Company strives to anticipate and keep up with customers’ changing requirements by constantly improving its product assortment, employment of new methodology and continuous research and development into new materials and applications.

Apart from these, the Company also provides sign consultancy services to clients, design and built capabilities using high-end techniques such as plastic injection moulding and aluminum extrusion to manufacture POP merchandising display, kiosks, rostrums and all kinds of signage and display system to meet clients’ exacting requirements.

Albert Smith Signs

In 2000, Albert Smith Signs Pte Ltd, was incorporated under a licensing agreement signed with Albert Smith Signs Group, Australia (ASSG). ASSG is the largest signage and identification company in the Asia-Pacific Region, with a proven track record dating back more than 100 years. It has extensive support network of sales and construction facilities in eight countries and export its products and services to some 15 countries. Essentially, ASSG provides a broad range of sign identification service, from project management to product and design consultancy. With this strategic alliance, ASS Singapore is able to benefit from the Group’s successful branding strategy in special market niches which Gleason and UDS do not have market access. In fact, this new establishment enabled Gleason to penetrate into high impact-imaging brand leaders such as BP, Mobil, Caltex, McDonald, Carrefour, Citibank, etc.

This tie-up also serves as a springboard for Gleason to build up its overseas project capability given the support of ASSG in Australia and its regional network. The group as a whole benefits from cross referrals in which the companies leverage on each other core strengths.

Digimax Sign Engineering

Digimax Sign Engineering Pte Ltd was started in 2001 to provide technical support to enhance and complement the expanding scope of business activities of its related companies.

Digimax’s principal activities are to research, experiment, source and provide latest sign engineering & manufacturing technology to the expanding group as well as to provide large-format graphics media design & printing, special effects lighting system such as LED/ LCD/ EL, solar lighting system, 3D digitizer modeling, engineering and production, and all kind of signage or display system with motorised functions.

As outdoor media specialist, Gleamedia differentiates itself from competitors by moving away from the traditional domains and offering out-of-the-mill media products such as the revolutionary, 1st-of-its-kind LCD advertising panels that saw wide applications as in shopping malls, airports, MRT and even elevator lobbies.
